Things to do in Sorrento
Sorrento offers great beaches, scenic walks, historic buildings and sites, dolphin-watching cruises and ferry trips to Queenscliff. Charters offer fishing trips, sightseeing cruises, dolphin and seal watching excursions and dolphin-swim cruises on the bay.

History of Sorrento
Sorrento was the first European settlement in Victoria and Lieutenant-Governor David Collins and 300 convicts and landed there in 1803. Due to a shortage of water the penal colony was soon moved to Hobart but seventy years on it became a popular resort and continues to be today.
