Things to do in Albany
There are many things to see and do in Albany including; swimming, sunbathe, surf and and even snorkel! Or take a nice walk along Eyer Park which is a renowned family park.
From the jetty you begin a 5.5km board walk to the city centre capturing the magnificent views of the coastline and from July to October you may see the whales passing through.

History of Albany
Albany was first settled in 1826, two years before Perth. Not only does Western Australias first white settlement boast one of the best natural harbours in the world, it has within its shire boundaries spectacular coastal scenery, perennial river, dense karri forests, rich farmland and the states most temperate climate.

The Residency Museum build in 1850 served as a store and offices for the nearby convict hiring depot. The Convict Depot/Old Goal Museum build in 1852 for imperial convicts shipped to WA as artisans and skilled labourers.
Middleton Beach, Cosy Corner, Two Peoples Bay, Mutton Bird and many other beaches all with pristine water and white sand.
