Ellentree House is set on a stunning 1200sqm block, studded with weeping elms, maples, rhododendrons, fruit trees, wisteria and kiwifruit covered pergolas. Enjoy the garden from a large north facing deck with BBQ or numerous other secluded and spacious covered verandahs. Comprises of four roomy bedrooms, multiple living areas, large open mezzanine attic rumpus overlooking the main living area including a fabulous modern ceasarstone and stainless steel appliance gourmet kitchen. Indulge your senses in a choice of three resort-style bathrooms all with large corner spas, including a hydro therapy spa and sauna to rejuvenate and energize your body and spirit after a long bush walk or busy week. Guaranteed instant stress relief!

The remarkable design of the house offers a feel of cosy togetherness and festivity whilst allowing private sanctuary in the many pockets and living areas spread through the premises, indoor and out.

The core of the house is the original turn-of-century settlers home with splendid and creative extensions constructed from quality timbers, including marble and slate. It is set in beautiful mature gardens with dual access from Wombat St and Ryder St, offering ample parking for 6 cars or more.

Ellentree House comprises of three sections which can be isolated for privacy or left open to be used as open plan.

Section 1: The main part of the house, comprising of sweeping open plan layout and cathedral ceiling. Full kitchen facilities, smeg double oven appliances, stainless steel dishwasher, ceaserstone benchtops, huge lounge room with expansive modular and leather lounges, massive solid oak dining table for 16+ and gas log fire. Bedroom with 1 x queen bed and 1 x double bed. Bedroom has LCD TV with DVD player and Austar. Bathroom with spa bath. Under cover porch with BBQ and dining opens onto very spacious rear deck, with access to courtyard of several seating arrangements and garden.

Mezzanine Level: Rumpus style space with TV, DVD and video players. 1 x double bed in private alcove. 5 x single beds, can be configured to suit needs. Also 4 x single futon beds are lightweight and can be moved to other rooms.

Section 2: Large front verandah with dining. Separate cosy living room with entry foyer and combustion fire. 1 x bedroom with sitting area that can be partitioned with concertina doors. Has queen bed and lounge that can be converted to a double fold out futon. LCD TV with DVD player and Austar. Separate slate and wood bathroom with hydro therapy spa, and private fernery.

Section 3: Annex with four poster queen bed, 3 seater leather sofa, dining for 2 with kitchenette including fridge and microwave, combustion fire, LCD TV with DVD player and Austar. Marble bathroom, with separate shower, spa bath and sauna. It has its own separate entrance with private courtyard.

Other facilities also include: electric blankets, extra heaters in all rooms, extensive DVDvideoCD collection, board games, stereo CD player, port-a-cot, baby and child high-chairs and children's toys.

Ellentree House has 15 beds and can sleep up to 21 people.

Ellentree House is situated in a peaceful location of Blackheath surrounded by historic homes and old tall trees. Only a 5 minute walk to the quaint artisan Blackheath village there are many interesting shops of antiques and knick-knacks, and a plethora of sumptuous eateries to suit your fancy. With the train station conveniently in town, makes Ellentree House very accessible. Blackheath is also reknown for its world famous bushwalking tracks.
