On Tourist Drive 32, the Nimbin Road, at Coffee Camp between the sea & the rainforests lies this large, 1930s Deco manor house which has been fully restored & sensitively modernised. It's very accessible and easily found providing a central base for Lismore & Byron Bay's Rainbow Region.
It's handy to Nimbin village 8km further up the road and Lismore City 20km (15mins) south from which Byron Bay can be reached in 40 minutes. A bus stop is at the front gates for local buses, tourist coaches and the Nimbin-Byron Shuttle.
The house sits in perfect harmony upon its 5 acres with a large 85kl salt-water swimming pool with covered deck all to yourselves ... forest, creek, lake and pasture lands and offers all the amenities needed to enjoy a completely relaxing holiday or short stay.
Inside this grand country house, gracious rooms are perfectly complemented by extensive contemporary facilities.
The north veranda connects the two large bedrooms with French doors. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed whilst the second bedroom has twin single beds which can be made up as a King-size bed upon request for long stays. Both bedrooms have a vanity unit (cabinet de toilette), full-size wardrobe, bar fridge, radio-alarm clock and bedside lamps & tables.
A large, luxurious bathroom features a full-size bath, separate shower, vanity and toilet. As befits this beautiful rainforest residence, your water supply is pure rainwater.
A fully-equipped gourmet kitchen and poolside barbecue are available to prepare meals that can be enjoyed in the large country dining room or, more casually, on the pool terrace or a veranda.
The lounge room features a bay window and French doors and has a High Definition digital TV & DVD, a games table, library and tourist information. Wireless Broadband and an International Direct Dial telephone are also available together with other optional extras..
This is Byron Bay hinterland accommodation as you want it to be. The estate features a large salt-water pool with covered deck all to yourselves surrounded by gardens and forest with flowering trees and native wildlife, glorious wide verandas with fabulous views over the mystical Nimbin Valley to Sphinx Rock.
Suitable for singles, couples, friends, families and executives who wish to stay in comfort, tranquillity and privacy with no other guests nor cabins amidst one of the most beautiful and diverse ecosystems in Australia.
The estate is a registered Land for Wildlife property and is carbon neutral.
PETS:
Pets are accommodated at Aldwych Park with bedding, toys, food and water bowls provided within secure enclosures. House-trained pets are welcome indoors. A small daily tariff per pet (Optional Extras: Miscellaneous) is payable for the facilities and for the extra cleaning, sanitising and deodorising needed for the comfort of our not-so-pet-friendly visitors and allergy sufferers.

Q. Is your labrador socialable and friendly with dogs of all sizes?
A. Being a Labrador, she is very sociable and friendly with all dogs but is wary of small dogs as they bark at her.

Q. Is the property fenced and do the dogs have access around the 5 acres?
A. The property is fenced but not for dogs. Dogs have access around the 5 acres but should be accompanied so that they do not harm the wildlife or chase my neighbour's cattle. Walks can be taken in the morning with dogs off lead through neighbour's property to the creek.
