Come and enjoy this beautiful beach home and Pearl Beach, it backs onto natural bushland and has the golden sands of Pearl Beach at the end of the street (a 350m level walk). There's always the sound of birdlife in the trees and sometimes the sound of the rolling waves.
The home is stylish but beach casual, it's an original 50's fibro beach house updated with a stylish modern internal renovation. There is a main house plus a quaint self contained ex fishermans cabin (see floor plan in photos).
Ideal for relaxing or entertaining, it's a haven filled with considered touches and beautiful, interesting things. Artwork collected and done myself, favourite magazines and books, junk shop finds, fresh flowers and foliage from my garden, scented candles, loads of votives and bric a brac. …
A BEAUTIFUL SPACE TO RELAX
The main house features a master bedroom offering tranquil tree house views, ideal for breakfast in bed or the morning papers.
Numerous living spaces mean guests won't fall over each other and everyone can relax.
Relax inside in the sunroom with a gorgeous leafy outlook furnished with a comfy chair to read the paper or that book that you've been saving for the holidays. There's also a table and chairs where you can relax and have a cup of coffee while doing a puzzle or a crossword. Or snuggle up on the beautiful King Furniture deep seated modular sofa in the living room and watch a movie on the 50inch tv, or play some of your favourite music on the Bose docking station.
For the kids. There are toys and books to amuse, plus a little activity area that is undercover if it rains or is too hot for delicate young skin. It is fitted out with a table and chairs, colour pencils, a blackboard and a sandpit. The kids can play on their own there while you relax and a gate will ensure they dont wander.
Indoors and out blend seamlessley with the living areas spilling out to the private courtyard. Outside you can soak up the sun on the sun lounges, or relax on the undercover verandah.
A renovated bathroom features a deep bath if you wish to light a scented candle and soak for a while.
SELF CONTAINED CABIN
Separated from the house (half metre) is a quaint self contained guest cabin, perfect for another couple or teenage children, with complete privacy and bathroom facilities. You can also escape to the privacy of the cabin, it is a great space to watch or movie or read.
The beds are excellent quality (Sealy Posturepedic) with comfortable pillows, good quality warm doonas and beautiful bed coverings. 2 x Queen(master and cabin), 1 x double(sleepout).
If you want to use the house to entertain there is good quality wine glasses, tasteful Country Road dinnerware and cutlery and beautiful cloth napkins. Dinner or lunch can be enjoyed in the indoor dining area on cooler nights or the beautiful outdoor entertaining area for balmy summer evenings. It's a well equipped modern kitchen for the gourmet inspired.

Snug and cosy in winter. The house and cabin are equipped with gas heaters plus a reverse cycle air con in the main house.
I purchased the house with the kitchen as is without a dishwasher. I cannot bring myself to redo a perfectly good kitchen to accommodate one. So if you refuse to wash your own dishes, you will not like the house. The sink is very deep, making it easy to wash up.
I love the tree house feel of the house which is achieved via many windows. I have chosen to not use window dressings on all windows (only master bed and lounge area). If you love complete darkness when sleeping the house will disappoint. Privacy is gained due to the house being up off the street. The cabin can be made completely dark (all windows dressed).
HOW THE HOUSE WORKS
Perfect for couples or friends. Can comfortably have three couples or six guests (please check the floor plan though as the house is fairly open plan)
Family friendly. Perfect for a mum, dad and kids. The cabin is perfect for teenagers.
Suits extended families. Cabin is ideal for grandparents.

- Step 3) Once we receive your "RZ" reservation request, a consultant will process all details and send a "BK" Booking Confirmation, payment receipt with arrival and key collection information.

Are pets permitted?
Some properties allow Pets and will display Pets Permitted. Visitors will need to advise the type and size of pet and whether the pet is indoor or an outdoor pet.
Properties that do not show Pets Permitted will not accept pets.
A Pet Bond might be required to clean. deodourise and disinfect the property prior to the next visitor arrival to ensure the property is allergy free.
Availability calendar not up to date?
rentahome does encourage our property managers to update their availability calendars as often as possible.
Unfortunately it isn't always as frequent as we'd like, each calendar has a date of which the calendar was last updated so you who how up to date the listing is.
This is why rentahome has the quote process, it confirms the current availability of your selected property/s and the best rate available for your stay.
Are visitors able to inspect properties?
rentahome welcomes inspections however they may not be always feasible and are generally only available for longer stays of three months or longer.
The property must first be quoted as available with a price for your requested dates.
To request an inspection simply login to your Quote at the below link using your quote number and surname: http://www.rent-a-home.com.au/home/my/quotedetails.aspx
Scroll down to your preferred property and under the photo there will be a button 'Request Inspection', click on 'Request Inspection' and fill in your details. Your details will be sent to the property manager who will make contact within 48hours to arrange an appointment.
If there is no 'Request Inspection' button, this means the property manager does not provide inspections.
Please note that properties are not held and may be booked by other visitors.
Will I have to pay a security deposit?
A Bond/Security Deposit may be required by the Property Manager the amount will vary depending on the property manager. If so, this payment will take place outside of the Rentahome EasyPay System and you may be asked to direct transfer funds into the Property Manager's bank account or a credit card imprint may be requested. Rentahome does not become involved in the payment or return of bonds or security deposits. Return of these amounts is based on the Property Manager's terms and conditions and their inspection of the property after your stay.
The Security Deposit (Bond) is required to cover any damage or incidential costs incurred during your stay at the property. If there is no Damage or Additional Costs then the Security Deposit will be refunded. If the amount of the Damage or Additional Costs are greater than the Security Deposit, then the Guest will be required to pay the difference.
On Arrival, please report any damage or requirement maintenance immediately to the property manager, as you will be liable for any Damage on your departure.
A Bond applies for properties under a Lease agreement. The Bond is typically lodged with a government Bond Authority and returned at the the end of the stay following an Exit Inspection and review of the Condition Report.
Rent-A-Home processes rental payment with guests directly. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Bank Transfer.
