The Somerhouse has a private north-easterly aspect overlooking a private leafy gully and the Somerset hills. Located just 1.8km from the Spit (day use area) at Somerset Dam and 300m to the Catchment Cafe and General Store.

Completely self-contained, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Sleeps up to 6 people (ceiling fans throughout the house). Perfect place to unwind after a day of boating. Patio with outdoor table and BBQ for entertaining family and friends.

Short stroll to the Catchment Cafe for delicious refreshments and meals or 1.8km to the boat ramp. Horse riding, Caboonah Homestead, bushwalking, bird watching or relaxing are some of the many activities offered at the Somerhouse.

	After big days at the Splendour in the Grass Festival, retreating back to the Somerhouse at early hours of the morning couldn't have been better. With warm comfortable beds and a hot shower, I'm glad we didn't camp! The house had everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Just perfect!

	The thought and love that has gone into the property was obvious from the minute we walked through the door. I have on many occasions sat back and dreamt of a little cosy warm haven to relax and wind down in and it more than exceeded my expectations. From the green leafy secret gardens to the soft beanbags to relax in while listening to music or watching a video in front of the heater, the comforable bedding and lounges with cosy mood lighting to the retro kitchen which felt like home with the owners leaving little things there to make our stay more homely. I cant describe the feeling it has left me with, its warm and safe and inviting. It has a feel of fun and laughter which I want to share with everyone I know. I dont remember the last time I was that relaxed. Its been two days since we left and I can still feel the place. I close my eyes and I am there. It genuinly brings a smile to my face. Thank you so much!

	We travel a lot around Australia and choose to stay in self contained cottages, preferably heritage cottages and I would rate this cottage up there with the best. It is apparent that the owners have spent a lot of time and money on the presentation of the property and it was wonderfully equiped with just about anything travellers would need for either a short or long term stay. Will definately stay there again should we go back to Somerset.

	This property is the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in - and the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Games, movies, magazines for all tastes were great. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and more. We will be back.
