Kuranda Villas is centrally located, one street back from the main street, within walking distance of all the attractions within the village of Kuranda. The village is located in the rainforest 330 metres above sea level and just 25 km from Cairns up the scenic Kuranda Range Road with views overlooking the Great Barrier Reef. The climate in Kuranda is cooler and less humid than the coast.

Kuranda Villas - Villa 1 is a State Winner in the 2009 TakeABreak Awards for Self-Contained Holiday Accommodation. Villa 1 is a comfortable fully furnished and self-contained two bedroom house. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. We also supply extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, locally grown tea and locally grown ground coffee and sugar. Complimentary Port is provided.

A SECURITY BOND IS REQUIRED

Villa 1 will sleep up to 6 people and a maximum of 4 adults is allowed. The sleeping configuration is as follows:
Bedroom 1 - queen size bed
Bedroom 2 - two king single beds
Lounge - double sofa bed
A portacot is also available upon request for very young children.
All linen, bedding and towels is supplied and there is a washing machine and dryer provided. In the cooler months of the year and a heater is located in the lounge area. Ceiling fans are located throughout the villa.

There is a TV and DVD player, as well as a CD micro system for iPod. There is a patio with BBQ and outdoor table and chairs in the private garden. A safe covered parking area is located alongside the villa and there are security screens on the windows and doors.

Kuranda Villas is located in the heart of Kuranda Village and only 5 minutes walk from the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. It is also within walking distance of the Kuranda Amphitheatre.

Meet the largest collection of free flying birds in Australia at Birdworld Kuranda.
Cuddle a koala, feed kangaroos and wallabies, see snakes and crocodiles at the Kuranda Koala Gardens.
Marvel at the amazing tropical butterflies in the walk-through rainforest enclosure at the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.
Take a Kuranda Riverboat Cruise.
Visit the Heritage Markets and go on self-guided rainforest walks in the village.
Taste the delicious Kuranda Home Made Tropical Ice Cream.
Half an hour's drive west from Kuranda is Mareeba where the rainforest meets the outback. There are plenty of interesting towns and historical places of interest to explore.

Visit The Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve which has rhinos, bears, hippos, lions and other big cats within its 140 acres.
There are coffee plantations and a mango winery where you can relax and taste their products.
Go birdwatching at the Mareeba Wetlands aboard a canoe or electric boat.
Visit Tyrconnell Historic Gold Mine and Mount Mulligan.
See Chillagoe's limestone towers and caves formed from ancient seas and reefs.
