Rental Guarantee Kuranda Villas is centrally located, one street back from the main street, within walking distance of all the attractions within the village. Skyrail and the Kuranda Scenic Railway is less than a 5 minute walk from the villa and pick-ups can be arranged.

The village is located in the rainforest 330 metres above sea level in the Cairns Highlands. The climate is cooler and less humid and just 25 km from Cairns up the scenic Kuranda Range Road with views overlooking the Great Barrier Reef. Kuranda was founded in 1876 and inhabited by the Djabugay aboriginal people. Tourism began in the area at the beginning of the twentieth century and became very popular in the 1960's with the "hippie" generation for it offered a fabulous location for their alternative lifestyle.

Kuranda is surrounded by World Heritage listed wet tropics rainforest with approximately 1,200 species of flowering plants, 800 of which are rainforest trees.
