We found the Highlanders Cottages to be absolutely fabulous. Well appointed and comfortable. The couple running them could not have made us feel more welcome, almost like we had known them for years. Would recommend them to anyone considering a visit to this area |

This is a very high quality accomodation with an excellent outlook, they run a honesty bar via a very well stocked fridge. It was nice to be visited by Wallabies & Possums, I only wished I had organised a longer stay, a must do at another time. |

My elderly parents and I thoroughly enjoyed our night in Tallow-wood Cottage. We call this our 'Wilderness Experience'. Our hosts greeted us in a very friendly manner and we were also welcomed by the resident mother and baby wombat. Soon after a very friendly pademelon (wallaby) came to welcome us. The cabin was made of wood and finished inside beautifully with wood as well. The bedding was comfortable. There are about 12 cabins in the complex, but they are spread out well enough to allow for your privacy. They are also surrounded by native plants. We can thoroughly recommend Highlanders Cottages. |

If you love those little wildlife, you will feel happy to stay here. They went into the balcony and attempted to enter our villa. So, remember to lock the door. Anyway, they were very cute. |

We enjoyed our stay at the Highlanders and will return when the opportunity arises. We felt quiet at home and could have done with an extra week. |

Our accommodation was brilliant. We were warm comfortable and surrounded by trees. The cabins are private and the atmosphere and decore add to the feeling of "getting away from it all". We were just a few minutes drive away from some of the most memorable walks and scenery we have ever experienced. We want to come back, and soon. |

Great. Best value on the mountain we were told at the visitor's center and I would have to agree. |

I stayed in 'Wombat' which is a delightful comfy well appointed cabin. The kitchen has all that's needed for an extended stay. The deck affords an opportunity to check out the local wildlife up close. Beds are great after a full days walking. |

We stayed in The Bushmans Hut which was fantastic. It was very cosy and warm and the little heater was very effective. The service was very good. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed very comfy! We did find the sofa uncomfortable to sit on as it is a sofa bed and they generally are uncomfortable. Over all a lovely two day stay in a beautiful affordable cabin. Have recommended to lots of people! |
