Close to all amenities; 300 metres to Pt Philip Bay & the beach; just over five minutes walk from St Kilda's Acland St. Light rail to the city close by ; bus stop right outside; train 5 bus stops away. …

One of the main cafe & restaurant areas in Melbourne -- Fitzroy St St Kilda is 3 stops away on No.96 tram. Acland St itself has many places to eat and is 5 minutes walk. Ormond Rd Elwood a little further. Good shopping strips close by in Acland St St Kilda; Carlyle St Caulfield; & Glen Huntley Rd Elsternwick . Chapel St ends at Brighton Rd 3 blocks east of apartment. You can catch a tram north from there 3 or 4 kms north & be in the heart of the fabled Chapel St shopping precinct. Fresh Markets -- South Melbourne market is on the light railtram No 96. Prahran market is behind the cnr of Chapel St & Commercial Rd by tram.
Movies two art house movie theatre within 5 minutes by car easy access by tram. See also St Kilda Botanic Gardens 2 blocks East on Dickens St. Pt Philip Bay plus kms of walking cycling along the Bay is one block west parallel to Barkly St. Albert Park Lake is on the light rail stop (get off at Middle Pk.). Suit the discerning budget traveller. Ideal for singles, couples or couples with one (younger) child. As I use it myself, it is furnished as I like it -- like a home -- cheaply but clean and stylish.

Please note also, as it is my flat for my own use as well as visitors (who are very welcome when I do not want it for myself), I do not accept bookings more than 3 - 4 months in advance. Also, prefer longer bookings at present - 3 months minimum.
