Rental Guarantee This charming, recently renovated Edwardian home is situated in a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac just minutes from Elwood beach. Access to the beach is via a private lane-way so it's less than two minutes to the water and a 5 minute stroll to Elwood village with all its cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques. Wilton Grove is a fully detached, spacious, red brick home. It sits proudly on the corner of the street and is north facing; so there's no shortage of sunlight to be enjoyed in the rear courtyard or within the house itself. The first thing you'll notice is how quiet the area is and, once inside the charm and peace that this homely environment provides is truly captivating. There are two large living areas, one with open plan kitchen and dining, leading to sliding double doors that give onto the rear courtyard and the other with plush furnishings to allow you to settle into the home theatre and surround sound system. The kitchen is fully fitted with Smeg gas hob, oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and breakfast bar while the dining area has an extendable dining table for more formal meals. The polished wood floors extend throughout this area and are met by thick, new carpets within the lounge and corridor to the bedrooms and bathroom. The lounge is truly that. A lounge for lounging in. Set up as a reading and movie room, the comfortable couch faces a 42' Plasma and 6 speaker Bose surround sound system that ensures you'll be enjoying CDs, DVDs or even just the nightly news in the best possible way. There are also adjoining and speakers that run off this system into the kitchen/dining area.There are two large bedrooms both with double beds (one King and one Queen). The master bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with a large shower. The second bathroom has a spa bath and is adjacent to the second bedroom.Outside there's a lock up shed for any excess storage but given how much storage space you'll have inside you probably won't need to use it for anything else than the lawn mower and mountain bike (which is provided free of charge). There's off street parking for two cars and ample parking on the street.This home is an entertainer's delight while retaining all the creature comforts you would long for once you've got the place to yourself. Bedding, linen and towels are provided.. all you need to do is enjoy it. Elwood is situated 8 km from the CBD and is regarded as one of Melbourne's most livable areas being so close to both the beach and the action of St Kilda, Fitzroy street and the city, which is easily accessible by car or public transport. The bus goes from the end of the street, on Glenhuntly road, while the train station (Elsternwick) is a 5 minute bus ride or 15 minute walk away. Trams go from Acland street in St Kilda (15 minute walk) and will take you directly to the city.
