We had a lovely stay. The history was fascinating, and the accommodation ideal. We were upgraded to the Bluestone Room adding to our experience. Our breakfasts (part of the tariff) were excellent. But, oh the rain. It was the weekend of Melbourne's hail storm, and while we didn't get any hail it certainly rained. We were nevertheless snug and dry indoors, with the verandah to sit outside.
The Hotel nearby served good meals although we thought a tad expensive. |

Beautiful accomodation, very luxurious.
great verandah to sit on with a beer. Perfect for a weekend escape without driving too far from Melbourne. The 'You Yang' hills are a great place to visit for a walk. Perfect for two couples to share as a self contained B&B. |
