This luxury two story home is located on the Canyon Walk that follows the Ovens river. Just 20 paces from your back gate is the rivers edge. The house is situated in a quite and peaceful street just off the Back Porepunkah road minimizing any traffic noise and immersing you in the sounds of nature...murmuring of the river flowing by, the wind in the trees and the calls of a thousand species of birds.

Upstairs- features two huge out door diningentertaining areas. To the rear a large elevated deck overlooking the river, trees and mountains in the distance and to the front is a tiled courtyard with garden and water feature looking on to Apex hill. Inside is a chefs dream kitchen with huge island food preparation bench with granite top, open plan lounge area with dining lounges, 105cm plasma TV, Austar satellite reception, master bedroom with king size bed, walk in robe and en suite, bathroom with spa bath and bedroom 2 with queen size bed.
Downstairs-Features a fully self contained apartment with full kitchen, separate inverter air con heater and bathroom, sleeping up to 5,. A billiard room with bar, wine fridge, wall to wall wine racks, 2nd TV DVD, lounge setting, wood fire and a bunk room with 5 single beds with its own separate bathroom.

Forget the car when you arrive. Walk out the back gate and turn left onto the Canyon walk and stroll to town in 5 minutes for coffee, lunch or dinner at any of the top class Bright restaurants or meander through the many art and craft shops.Turn right and follow the Canyon Walk along the gorgeous Ovens river canyon. Bright is 50 minutes from Falls Creek and 1 hour from Mt Hotham ski slopes. Stay at Bright and bus to the slopes on the days when you feel like skiing or stay in Bright and surrounds and enjoy the other activities offered including winery tours, trail riding and walking, hang gliding etc..

This home is suited to large families, family get togethers, group get aways and is ideal for executives, managers etc and their families who deserve a break and seek the extra luxury and decadence Canyons Bend has to offer the business man or woman who just need some R and R. Great for mixed groups with differing interests- skiiers, adventurers, walkers, bike riders, tourers, wine quoffers, or those who just love to chill out.

What we, the owners, love to do
1)Long walks along the many trails.
2)On hot days sit "in" the river with a drink or two and watch the kids play building rock dams or on their lilos (provided).
3)On cold days hit the ski slopes or wander into town for a coffee or hot chocolate.
4)Hang glide,trail ride, bike ride, read a book or just read the newspaper from cover to cover.
5)Cook up a storm and have dinner on the deck with nature and laugh with friends or family till late.
6)Light the fire, hit the downstairs bar or pick a bottle from the wine rack and play billiards.
7)Share a spa bath with candles and a glass of bubbly.
8)Lunch at local wineries.
9)Catch up with the latest DVD in front of the fire.
10)Take a scenic drive; in any direction. Visit historic Wandiligong and drop in at the Maze for lunch, or the local pub.
10)Pick one of the many great Bright restaurants for dinner.
11)Idle away the hours fly fishing (rods provided). In season, of course!
12)Wander up to the local brewery for a local beer for happy hour.
13)Sit on the deck and be amazed at nature's awesome beauty.
