The area offers great beaches with Mindarie marina just 4 minutes away. The marina offers scuba diving and fishing charters as well as a great pub and restaurant.
The well known Hillarys marina is just 15 minutes down the coast.
There is a regular ferry service from Hillarys to Rottnest island. There is also a large choice of restaurants, coffee houses and shops.
Beach fishing is also very popular all along the coast. With many beaches to go swimming and boarding.
There are also parks,walkingcycle paths.The well regarded Yanchep national park makes for a very pleasant days outing and is 15 minutes north.Great for picnics,walks,boating and also has a caferestaurant.
Being close to the train station gives you rapid and easy access to the huge new Lakeside shopping complex 5 minutes down the track.
Perth CBD is 25 minutes with the line now continuing right down to Mandurah,90 relaxed minutes away
