In our office our environmental initiatives include: - installing energy saving lightblubs - recycling our waste with separation of paper, plastic and other waste - using recycled paper when printing is required - switching off unused computers and appliances after hours - staff 50% rebate on a bicycle purchase - encouraging minimal print out of emails and documents - using renewable energy usage - using non toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning products in our office
We have recently submitted an application for a GreenGlobe certification.
Property Managers
We encourage property managers to adopt our Going Green policy:
- using renewable energy at their premises - using environmentally friendly cleaning products in properties - recycling waste at the property - minimising the environmental impact of their premise (reduced water usage, planting native spieces)
Visitors
While you staying in a property, consider these valuable contributions you can make by Going Green:
- minimise your waste - recylce waste by placing paper and recyclable plastics in the right collection containers - conserve water by avoiding long showers - conserve energy by switching lights and appliances off when not in use eg. when you go out for the day, when you are not using that room at night.
Remember the more you do to help preserve the local environment, the more beautiful the destination will be for you and future visitors.
